Inside [solidcore]’s Stunning New Headquarters

The new [solidcore] headquarters emphasizes thoughtful design and meticulous planning, with every detail reflecting the brands’ identity and dedication to excellence. Featuring a striking black and blue palette, the branding is integral to creating a cohesive atmosphere throughout the 12,000-square-foot office space in Arlington, VA.

In collaboration with Hickok Cole, GHT and Pillar Development, Bognet Construction transformed the workspace into a cohesive environment that seamlessly integrates [solidcore]’s distinctive branding. The project was defined by a strong spirit of teamwork, characterized by proactive communication and a dedication to delivering exceptional results the first time.

Kicking off the project with a lively demo day, the team’s chemistry was evident throughout the process. From the initial celebration to the final unveiling, close coordination and enthusiasm were key to navigating the unique aspects of the project, providing an inspiring environment for all who enter.

“The most rewarding part of this project was bringing the clients vision to reality, from functionality to integrating their unique brand design to every corner of the office space it truly reflects their culture and values. Was a pleasure working with each team member as we aligned together and created a space they will enjoy and create for years to come” said Nick Tubolino, Vice President

Collaborative Meetings

Regular coordination meetings with key stakeholders facilitated a seamless workflow. Using a “page turn” approach ensured that all parties were aligned on project goals.

Consistent Branding Across Spaces

We maintained a consistent branding strategy from the office to the studio, incorporating Sweatlana cables, striking blue lights, polished concrete floors, and other interconnected features that enhanced the overall aesthetic.

Functional Wall Systems

A ModernFold partition system in the conference room allows for versatile space usage, enabling the area to be adapted for various needs without compromising style.

Architectural Ceiling Designs

The design includes an Akutura ceiling and a coffered ceiling, ensuring that each ceiling panel integrates effortlessly with the grid above. An open ceiling concept adds to the spacious feel of the office.

Material Samples Board

A curated board of architect and client approved samples and materials were brought on-site, allowing any project team members and subcontractors to visualize the space and understand the vision. This hands-on experience enabled discussions and minor modifications before final orders, preventing conflicts or costly changes later.
