SEEC’s new headquarters is a vibrant, inclusive workplace designed
to embody the nonprofi t’s mission of supporting individuals with
intellectual and developmental disabilities. The 20,000 sf space was
built with accessibility, fl exibility, and community at its core.
To accommodate SEEC’s diverse programs and staff, the space was
organized into departmental “neighborhoods,” each selecting its own
furniture for a personalized feel. The result is a cohesive environment
that balances individuality with unity.
Inspired by embroidery, the design weaves SEEC’s mission into four
custom fi nish palettes—Jacobean, Applique, Underlay, and Tackle
Twill—each adding visual and tactile depth. Thoughtful elements like
sensory-friendly materials, fl exible work zones, and collaboration areas
reinforce the organization’s emphasis on choice and adaptability.
Amenities include an ADA-compliant shower, caregiver-friendly
restroom stalls, a mothers’ room, a wellness space, and a fi tness
room—highlighting SEEC’s holistic approach to well-being. Every
detail of this project refl ects Bognet’s commitment to delivering
intentional, mission-driven spaces that empower communities.
