National Governors Association’s new corporate headquarters was thoughtfully designed by the team of Savills, MGAC and FOX Architects to accommodate the needs of our nation’s Governors to improve citizens’ lives through state government. Each state is represented on the custom flag feature wall leading into the reception area. Warm tones and wood features fill the space along with black accents for balance. Radius and soffit walls throughout required careful coordination between multiple trades and were flawlessly executed by implementing quality inspection milestones throughout the duration of the project.
Our team was a resource every step of the way during the preconstruction phase to maximize NGA’s budget. We provided unique value engineering ideas and solutions that the team could evaluate, ensuring their vision was still achieved. Once construction kicked off during the pandemic, we provided consistent updates through video tours that highlighted progress and milestones. We are very proud of the team chemistry that was developed despite working together, mostly virtual.
Repeat customer, NCMEC , enlisted Bognet to build a new home for hope – a headquarters in Alexandria to unify all 280 NCMEC employees at one location. Some of the highlights from the 65,000 SF space include a SCIF room, an ADOTTA telescoping partition wall system, and an interconnecting stair. The structural steel stair required high coordination with the neighboring recording studio and soaring “HOPE” wall. The wall, made up of acrylic fins featuring donor names, was included as a showcase to reinforce NCMEC’s mission to work until they bring all missing and exploited children home.
As the nation’s clearinghouse and comprehensive reporting center for all issues related to the prevention and recovery from child victimization, NCMEC leads the fight against abduction, abuse, and exploitation — because every child deserves a safe childhood.
NCARB’s new headquarters is a true triple threat of corporate interiors – attractive design, high functionality, and sustainable. Bognet partnered with Cresa and OTJ Architects to build-out the non-profit organization’s 24,000 SF office space, which was recently awarded a LEED Gold certification. Unique finishes include terrazzo flooring, Muraflex demountable office fronts, glass operable partitions, custom wall covering, and custom millwork throughout.
NCARB is a nonprofit corporation comprising the legally constituted architectural registration boards of the United States, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Island as members.
Reclaimed wood was used throughout the space, highlighting features such as the lobby, reception and touchdown seating areas. In some locations the reclaimed wood flows down the walls right into the floors, creating an inviting area for employees to meet. A notable aspect within the conference space is a large Skyfold partition that can retract into the ceiling when the space is opened for a large meeting or event.

The project included a new exterior façade, as well as 40,000 SF of executive and staff offices, a copy and fax area, conference rooms, open workstations, an IT room, reception and pantry areas and a fitness center.
Universities Space Research Association is an independent, nonprofit research corporation where the combined efforts of in-house talent and university-based expertise merge to advance space science and technology.
Clean, crisp whites and beautiful colors fill this pristine space. The pantry features elegant stone waterfall edges and a bright and colorful mosaic tile which pops within the space. With luxury vinyl wood floors, custom light fixtures, lacquer panels and bold accent carpet colors this space is a showroom within itself. The utilization of class in conference and gathering areas plays on the clean, open and airy feeling creating an inviting space for both employees and visitors.
