The project involved the transformation of a brand-new retail
extension at the Skymark residential buildings in Reston Town Center,
marking the first retail presence on this prominent street. As a repeat
collaboration with esteemed clients Newmark and Cushman, and
working closely with the developer BXP.

This retail space posed unique challenges, including 22-foot-high
ceilings and extensive plumbing requirements for the play areas. The
work involved cutting and removing sections of concrete, core drilling,
and managing intricate coordination due to space constraints, slab
plumbing work, and the elevated ceiling height.

Key features included polished concrete floors in the lobby and
hallways, custom branding extended to the exposed ductwork, and
the installation of crates, gates, and fences. The team successfully
overcame these challenges, delivering a sophisticated and functional
retail space that seamlessly integrates with the broader Reston Town
Center development.
