National Governors Association’s new corporate headquarters was thoughtfully designed by the team of Savills, MGAC and FOX Architects to accommodate the needs of our nation’s Governors to improve citizens’ lives through state government. Each state is represented on the custom flag feature wall leading into the reception area. Warm tones and wood features fill the space along with black accents for balance. Radius and soffit walls throughout required careful coordination between multiple trades and were flawlessly executed by implementing quality inspection milestones throughout the duration of the project.
Our team was a resource every step of the way during the preconstruction phase to maximize NGA’s budget. We provided unique value engineering ideas and solutions that the team could evaluate, ensuring their vision was still achieved. Once construction kicked off during the pandemic, we provided consistent updates through video tours that highlighted progress and milestones. We are very proud of the team chemistry that was developed despite working together, mostly virtual.

The lobby & reception areas feature beautiful ceramic plank tiles, wood veneer finishes and a fun play on angles creating visual interest within the space. A custom butcher block top can be seen on the island inside the open reception adding character to this large gathering space.

Bognet Construction, Wingate Hughes & KGO worked seamlessly together to create this unique space for Maggio + Kattar. Using inspiration from around the world this space features polished concrete floors, custom decorative ceiling panels, custom light fixtures and exposed ceilings. These are just a few of the eye catching details within this beautiful space. The design also incorporated glass RACO storefront systems at all of the conference rooms and a beautiful stone wrapped reception desk.
