Bognet Expanding Base Building Team

Bognet welcomes Kristopher Car as Vice President of Base and Multifamily Construction! Kristopher has nearly 25 years of experience, setting him apart in multifamily, base building, and repositioning. This change comes just as Bognet enters the beginning stages of a historic renovation in Frederick, Maryland.

Visitation Frederick, soon to be a 67-room hotel, is a mixed-use development on the grounds of a former private all-girls school. This historic renovation project is complete with a full-service spa and fitness center, an intimate performance venue, and white-tablecloth restaurant and bar.

Mission: Forward, Operation Turkey

What keeps the colder months feeling so warm?  The season of giving!

Cheesy sayings aside, the winter brings some of the most of the fulfilling causes to the forefront of our minds. Bognet’s Mission: Forward social impact initiative gives structure to our giving efforts, placing them within five main missions. This Mission: Forward campaign was curated to reflect our commitment to diversity, inclusion & serving our community.

In advance of Thanksgiving, the Bognet team collected canned goods and other food items for Operation Turkey. Operation Turkey is a national organization that works with local volunteers to ensure everyone receives a meal on Thanksgiving Day. Locally, Operation Turkey benefits the Northern Virginia Family Service.

8 Years at Art Night

‘A Picture is worth a Thousand Words.’

Hickok Cole and Washington Project for the Arts partner annually to bring the community together in a month-long event called Art Month. This year – hosted at Hickok Cole’s beautiful new headquarters – the Art Night exhibit raised a record-breaking $132,824.00 to support local artists. We had a great time seeing industry friends and are proud to be an Art Angel sponsor for over 8 years.

We enjoy the opportunity to support organizations that benefit our community and our team enjoys the many works of art we have displayed throughout our office! Pictured to the left is a Washington, DC Panorama by Sam Kittner.

13 Years Supporting Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center

Thirteen years ago, Jennifer Bognet was invited to attend one of the first “Women and Wine” fundraisers for the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center

Fast forward to 2021 and “Women and Wine” has become “Lombardi Women – Connecting for a Cure.” It’s now an annual 750+person event, with over $4.4 million raised over the last 15 years.

This year, our team raised $1,790.00 to give to Georgetown Lombardi.  We are grateful to participate in an event that builds women up, all while raising critical funding to fight breast cancer.
