Columbia Property Trust just delivered private, high end spec suites with on-floor tenant amenities that include a conference center, tenant lounge, kitchen and dining area. Located on a full floor in the National Press Building, the suites overlook an atrium which had to be enclosed during construction to safely build and minimize disruption. One of the most unique features of the space is the Clipso light fixture in the tenant lounge. The backlit fixture covered in a translucent fabric creates a warm and bright atmosphere, adding to the natural light from the building atrium.

Office Evolution

Office Evolution enlisted Bognet to renovate an existing tenant office space to create an additional Virginia location. The scope of work was to 10,000 SF of space including the addition of 41 offices, three conference rooms, a work room, and a pantry. The warm and welcoming finishes and private offices provide a coworking space where businesses can come together to work in a flexible and inspiring environment. This buildout was special in particular due to the timing – it was constructed entirely during the height of COVID-19. Strategic protocols, constant communication with subcontractors and the City of Fairfax, and flexibility allowed the team to work safely and efficiently. Office Evolution continues to expand and meet the needs of today’s businesses.

Founded in 2003, Office Evolution approaches private office space and virtual office space markets from a unique, entrepreneurial perspective. Their determination to offer sole proprietors and small businesses real business solutions has turned the idea of expensive executive offices and impersonal virtual office and coworking spaces on its head. Their efforts have resulted in a growing number of business centers located in key metro areas throughout the United States. Since its inception they have helped hundreds of individuals and businesses grow and expand by becoming an affordable and professional piece of their business plan.
