Bognet is committed to the project and the client throughout the construction process. In our role as the general contractor, Bognet is responsible for ensuring that the work is constructed accurately, represents the plans and specifications, and that it is completed in a safe and timely manner with the highest quality possible.
Quality Control
Bognet works together with both the client and architect to establish acceptable standards for each piece of work. At Bognet, we believe in the concept of doing it right the first time to efficiently achieve a better, more cost-effective product.
Schedule Control
Our on-site managers are committed to getting the project done on time or ahead of schedule. Our on-site schedule control program includes preparing a detailed weekly CPM schedule showing activity duration and sequence, general flow of work and major milestones. These are reviewed and updated weekly with the subcontractors and client. We manage the subcontractors and their schedules by controlling the duration of their tasks, and do not allow subcontractors to dictate the time requirements for the project. Should problems arise, we develop recovery plans and implement them to prevent slippage from affecting the completion date. We believe that each project completed on time or ahead of schedule is profitable for all concerned.
Billings
Bognet reviews and analyzes subcontractor monthly pay requests and assembles the monthly progress payment request. We have a strict subcontractor lien-release procedure that helps us to assure clients of a lien-free project upon completion and final payment.
Project Administration
Our staff handles subcontract administration; expediting, logging, receiving, and reviewing shop drawings and submittals; processing subcontractor request for information, and reviewing and validating subcontractor change order estimates.
Project Closeout
Bognet structures each construction schedule to allow for the development and completion of a punch list, and is generally kept to a minimum. Once the punch list is distributed and completed, the project manager and superintendent inspect each item to ensure satisfaction prior to requesting client verification. This eliminates unnecessary time spent by the client and architect.
